Readings: July 2014

I have a few readings this week, so if you want to come out and watch me, here’s where I’ll be:

Sydenham Arts Festival As part of the Sydenham Arts Festival, Kirkdale Books (which is one of the best independant bookstores in London) are putting on a short story evening. It’s tonight (14th July) at Zanzibar Nightclub in Sydenham, which is known in the local papers for being a source of ‘public urination’. So, if you like short fiction come along, but if you like public urination and short fiction, you may have hit the jackpot. I will be providing both, probably.

Listen Softly London Listen Softly London is a really exciting night in London and I’m really looking forward to performing there on the 16th of July. Dominic Stevenson, the host of the night, says:

“The night is about introducing writers to audiences who may not have previously come across them. The combination of authors and poets always makes for an evening of literary delight, and these writers will be no exception.”

Which is exactly what a literary night should aim for. I will be providing delights, probably in the form of a choose-your-own adventure story, so if you missed out on that at Write It: Mic It a few weeks ago, come along.

As always, you can find out more information about where I’ll be performing over on the performances page of my website.
